Vicente Junior opens new Dover Delaware Academy

 We would not only like to welcome Team Viper of Dover Delaware to the Vicente Junior De la Riva family, but we would also like to congratulate them for their hard work and many belt promotions yesterday. After a hard two hours of cardio and technique VJ handed out stripes and welcomed a brand new orange belt, Jordan Tribbett. Check out the album!

Vicente Junior Academies

Vicente Junior has academies in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland. VJ teaches gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at all of his academies and has several student who compete in both MMA and IBJJF events throughout the year.

De la Riva MMA: Darren Carter wins via 1st round Armlock

Darren came out and imposed his will tonight landing some vicious shots on his opponent and winning in the first round with a nasty armlock.   Check out the pics here!

Vicente Junior student Darren Carter's MMA Fight

Darren Carter steps into the ring this Saturday for his second 155 pound fight of the year, under the OnSlaught Fights "Urgent Fury" banner, his fight will take place this Saturday October 9th in Virginia. Darren is known for his explosive athleticism, dynamic striking and grappling. Darren's last fight took place July 16th 2010 at Battlefield Fighting Championships. Darren's MMA debut that night ended with a 2nd round KO of his opponent.
